hi

Hello friends ..a big hi to ya all..hmmm this is my another try in this blogging community. Hope i will make you all attract to read my blogs.. well , i'm a tamilian settled now in hyderabad.. pucca madrasi i'm !! no knowledge of other national language other than my mothertongue tamil and ofcourse english. Didnt imagine myself away from madras (chennai)till my marriage. Alas i got married ofcourse in chennai but started my new life in calcutta.. well for few days my better half took me more care.. yeah yeah, me his new bride na..:)..the real problem arised only when i do have to take reins of the daily affair bcoz my guy used to travel more often.. The servant maid who is helping me is a pure bengali! My guy cooly said it will be an oppurtunity to learn the language!!Oops it will be funny u know..i'm most talkative in nature..but i will be dumbstruck before my maid!! it will be like silent movie going on.. my only form of communication with her will be of signs... once she commented to my husband as lauki is looking nice but ma has not gifted her with speech!!!! psst this made me very upset that i started with bengali-english learners book!! and i enrolled myself wid a bengali class too.. somehow i managed three years there..but still i love calcutta..ppl are very friendly bcoz they managed me and my funny language na... I urge my guy to get posted there again...i remember few words like kheeyolo?? khothagore?aachun!! khemonaccho?? hahaaha please my friends bear my language if you are a bengali.... just want to recollect those days..!!

Hi,
Lalli,
Your expressions in the post indeed is good.
You will find Bengali in the beging as "Sings" Later you will find it as easy as "Science" and atlast you will see it as an "Art" and you will master this language and ever beat Bengalis.
I too know few Bengali words, such as Namushkaar, Aashun, Kichu Bolbena, Keee etc. Visited Calcutta for the fiorst time in 1976 and thereafter in 1984. My wife was and born and brought up in Cal and she was a student of South point and Lady Braborne College.

This is a very good blog no way to compare with Ibibo keep writing interesting articles and you will have more visitors.
